The One-Armed Bandit’s Private Practice Range

7000 Tomiyasu Ln., Las Vegas, NV 89120

Basement Bowling alley? Seen it.
Private club with huge dance floor? Seen it.
Giant pool with waterfall? Seen it.

Private shooting range? Now that is a new one. This fabulous Las Vegas listing is owned by one Gary Primm. And how did Mr. Primm come by so much money, you ask? Obviously not by playing in Las Vegas’ famous casinos… No, he develops casinos.

And what does he use his home-sharpened shooting skills on?

But wait, there’s more!

And while I have seen large private garages in listings before, this might be the shiniest one I’ve come across.

Wow.

  1. Sooo… he’s selling because he needs more room for his stuff, right? I mean, the stuffed animals are practically jammed together already, and there’s hardly enough room in the garage to swing a Peterbilt now – what’s he supposed to do with this year’s bag and his vintage airplane collection?

  2. The first thought: “Oh, it’s a hacienda; a nice, big, expensive hacienda.” But I love that even having this much money is no guarantee you won’t have brown patches on your (very large) lawn. Mwahahahaha!

Pics 7-13, had me wondering, “Why are seeing the interior of a really nice, but still very lifeless, hotel?” No lived-in look here.

Then I had the Jumanji flashbacks…………….

    *shutter~twitch~shutter*

This was followed directly by the sensation I was in the main Warren Theater in Wichita, which is a near duplicate of the home theater in this house, only somewhat larger. But only somewhat. (Actually the Warren is one of several and all are quite large.)

Then specialty rooms, then back to the “Oh, it’s a really nice hotel” sense again with the pool pics. Of course the pics of the grotto, the ones revealing someone’s troglodyte fetish, were somewhat disturbing, especially as the grotto is likely inside the rock formations on that otherwise lovely pool.

Nice shots of the outdoor activity areas, though that’s the dullest Zen Garden I’ve ever seen. Well kept and a nice size, but I think they missed the point of juxtaposing *different* rake patterns. Wait… what? It’s a paddock? Oh… if you say so.

Final assessment – BIG, Expensive, not very homey, and with a less than what you pay for lawn. My rating – Meh.

Wait! I just remembered (how could I forget) the Jumanji flashbacks. My reconsidered rating – Um, Bye! *runs… quickly… far away*

Wow, it’s like Godzilla ate a Cabela’s and a Fuddrucker’s, then polished the meal off with Bob’s Shootin’ Range. then he got sick and threw up all over this house.
