@Denita TwoDragons: LOL! Now that you put it that way, it also looks like it's acting as a decoy to draw your eye away from just how menacingly the moose is looking right at you. Although I'm not sure what the moose is gonna do about it. It's not like he's gonna charge you or anything. ;)

Well, I'd say the black squares in pic11 are sound absorbent baffles - which, to their credit, was one of our very few clues that this hulking cubic castle must really bounce some echos around those interior spaces. They've done quite a good job of softening it without ever denying that they're living among unrelieved sharp angles...

I got a kick out of figuring out how they took the first picture - it had me looking for a mezzanine across the room that would put me nose to nose with Bullwinkle, there. I think they must have slid that library ladder all the way into the room, climbed up, and held the camera out at arm's length...

First off... Color! Yea!! There are colors in this house!!!

As for the gaze, dead animals on the wall aren't my thing, but at least there's only the one, unlike some places we've seen. I kinda like the painting. It's very well done and with the gaze off to one side it's not creepy like it might be with a direct gaze. And it's much, *much* preferable than the multiple plain black squares featured in Pic 11. I think a few at the ceiling level are speakers, but what's with the rest of them?

For a minute I wondered about the price, as I look at number of bedrooms and baths first, price next, location third. Of course when I saw the "Studio City" address it made sense. Gotta say, it's nice to see something from Celebrity Row that *isn't* decorated like a pimp did his shopping at a flea market. This is a nice combination of colors, textures, styles, etc. Although...

An indoor picnic table? It's quite stylish by picnic table standards, I'm just never comfortable sitting at one. Even less comfortable looking, though, is that squared off toilet in Pic 17. Unless you keep your knees directly in front of you, I'm thinking those corners are really gonna dig into the backs of your thighs. Ouch.

On the humorous side, all I could think of looking at Pics 24-28 was that it looked like they'd used pieces of giant, broken pretzels, hehe. Oh, and I do really like the gorgeous natural wood bathroom counter in Pic 13. Nice idea, nicely executed.
