@Denita TwoDragons: LOL!!! But I gotta know... is the furniture radioactive only *after* you assemble it? Or are the parts radioactive on their own? If it's the former then, hey, not much to worry about for most people?!

Enjoy IKEA's new RADIOAKTIV furniture line...Not only can your furniture be a comfortable place to sit, it will also keep you warm on cold mornings AND gently illuminate the room when it's dark. And with a roll of 35mm film you can take X-ray photos of your own body! Fun for the whole family!*

Given the Geiger Counter readings, I would have expected this place to be in Los Alamos, NM, not at the south end of San Francisco Bay. Ah well, I suppose anyone can go a little over board with the color saturation app.

Other than having over-enthusiastic photos, I don't see much wrong with this place except for the ubiquitously ridiculous price tag the region is famous for. It has, on the upside, been *beautifully* maintained and redecorated. Extremely nice looking materials in the kitchen and baths. Still not worth the current $565K price, IMO, let alone the original $650K asking price.

I'm wondering where the 4th bedroom and "indoor laundry" are, though. Looking through the photos and watching the virtual tour feature, I saw only 3 bedrooms and no laundry. The laundry may be in the garage, but what about bedroom #4? I can find nothing about there being a basement, but that's my only guess. Anyone else have an idea?

BTW, some ceramics and concrete statuary from the '40s, '50s, and maybe into the '60s *can be* radioactive if it was painted with radioactive paint. Some of the pigments were created from earth sources in a-bomb testing areas. Might not want to hug Great-Grandma's garden gnome for too long...
