It is perhaps not surprising that the owner never built out their “dream.” Personally, if I were troubled by dreams of relentless spherical shapes shouldering their way toward my house through the mists, I wouldn’t build it, either.

Particularly if my dream defenses were limited to giant Logical OR gates – which, as any first year comp-sci student knows, will literally let through “anything” and stop “nothing.” I would not for a moment assume giant spherical mist monsters were zero-equivalent “nothings.”

In fact, I must attribute his choice to draw his defenders as OR gates (instead of, say, NOR gates, by mere addition of little circles on top), to either disastrous naivete or the cry of a tortured soul for help… or both.

One hopes the proceeds of the sale will be used at least in part to obtain him that help.
