Well, that sure puts the “solitary” in the “solitary splendor.” One doubts any other living thing than maid service has ever entered here – including the obligatory show-case dining and lounge areas.

My initial reaction was, “Bad divorce?” – but then I realized there would have to have been some sort of relationship for that to happen. I don’t think this place could tolerate even imaginary friends.

@Emerald63: I think you're right! These people sure do love their TVs. Although why they left the TVs in the other rooms and took this one out, is beyond me. Maybe they thought showing the TV in the kitchen was overkill.

Given the listing text spells out all the luxury materials used, I’d love to know what percentage of the final price tag can be attributed to them. Carrara freakin’ marble? Note to Agent: If your clients can afford that much of it, you might want to learn how to spell it. We’re talking Carrara, Italy, not a Porsche Carrera.

It’s a nice place, but somehow it just doesn’t do it for me. And it seems somewhat misplaced in the surrounding neighborhood. Not too much, but somewhat. I personally would not have traded that much of the site footprint for extra indoor space nor would I want what outdoor space I had to have the “You are now entering prison property” feel to it, as seen in Pic 3. However, I do like the expansive use of deck space.

Best Bonus? If you’re gonna live only one block over from Colorado Boulevard, being within half a block of an intersection with a traffic light is a godsend.

@Frodo: I saw bar code, too. Well, it never hurts to spell out the rules of the house for your... bar patrons. Did you notice there's yet another TV outlet embedded in that bar code? Look at the cherry wood kitchen pic - you can see the cable/satellite leads hanging out of the wall and an outlet down near the counter top. You won't be alone with the King there, but they might want to consider purchasing the King statue we saw a few posts ago, at least have the illusion of another body in the room.
