Other than the strange, and did I mention strange, taste in yard art, this is a pretty nice place, inside and out. That is, except for Pics 24-26....

Dum-di-dum-di-dum, walking through... Ooh! Nice woodwork and marble! Hey those are some cool angles! WHOA. Whut? Did I just step through a time portal? How the heck did I end up in a 1980 basement?

~ steps back through portal ~

Ahhh... that's better. Back outsiiiiiiEEEEE! What the hell?! Time portal to the Permian Age instead?! Oh, wait... not really a giant dragonfly, just a sculpture of one. Whew.

~ catches breath, looks around ~

Wow, nice landscaping and what a lovely infinity pool! Um, if we can get a really good exterminator out here, and do some updates in the basement, I think I'll take it.

Hm. At first I wondered if this could be some of that playground equipment they started installing shortly after I was too old for playgrounds - I think there was some sort of spider with monkey-bar legs. Then I saw the dragonfly entry and realized, no, no, these were the owner's cunning answer to policies enforced by neighborhood/zoning groups against hanging laundry outdoors. Install this sort of "art" and they'll practically beg you to drape it with your household soft goods...

It's a pretty nice home otherwise. Perhaps the...um..."artwork"...doesn't convey. If it does, I hope it's not part of the price of the home. I'd bargain for the cost of having it dismantled to be subtracted from the price.
