Creepy Babyface Sells You a Home

If you flip through the photos for this listing too fast, you would probably miss it. I know I did, until I read the text of Emerald63’s submission, pointing it out…

Oh and if the printed baby face pillow isn’t creepy enough for you, how about this shot?

This next shot is the view you get when you wake up and find that the dolls have stolen one of your kidneys to sell on the black market.

Just lie down and relax. Here, this soothing wallpaper should help.

  1. There are some creepy elements here.

It actually looks like it might be a decent place, but it’s in need of some renovating to fix some awkward spaces and updating to bring it up to date in both services and style. The age of the heating system makes me think that the wiring and plumbing may need to be re-done as well. And for heaven’s sake, get rid of the window units and get some central air while you’re at it. For all that, I wouldn’t pay anything close to the listed $465G for it.

I agree with Frodo; it seems decent as long as some work is done. The first 5 listing photos look pretty good, but then the listing nosedives. What’s the point of showing nice bay windows (Pics 6, 12) if the shades are down and they’re obscured by terrifying albino Raggedy Ann dolls? Also, Pics 15, 17, and 22 seem fairly shabby compared to 1-5.

Two of the things I don’t understand about the house… What’s with the rough wood posts in Pic 15? All those lovely wood floors and someone added these? Also, the way the Pic 18 skylight is jammed in; it’s wider than the space between the beams beneath it. It looks weird and messy, but more importantly it may have compromised structural stability. Kudos for the fun rubber ducky shower curtain, though. Not so much for the Big Top feel of the master bedroom.
