- Upon reading the listing text:
How did they fit all that on a measly 3 acres?
- Upon enlarging the photo set:
NINETY-THREE pictures?! I'm pretty sure that's the largest set we've ever seen.

Marty, both the first and last pics here, as well as the listing mention of a "private subterranean drive," could arguably be labeled "bat cave," in which case you actually have three! If that sort of thing is important to you. ;) I personally felt I was in a cave while looking at all the interior pics. Not sure if there really is a lack of windows for the square footage or it just seems that way due to the dark color schemes and twilight timing. I can understand the cave-y need in Arizona, but then why so much outdoor activity space?

About the theme... as much as I love collectibles, I do not want to live in a theme park. Well, except for the pool... Mmm... multiple waterfalls. Mmm... watery mood lighting.

About the decor... no matter how much heavily carved furniture and fittings this place has it is not elegant, not graceful, and not inviting. Why are so many people convinced that Death-By-Curly-Qs is somehow indicative of taste??? I suppose they're the same folks who are totally wowed by singers who insist on adding multiple notes to every line of every composition they ever perform. People... more is not always better! Sigh... even my beloved Doric columns can't save this one.

However, the the delightful nautically themed bed/bath suite (Pics 28 & 29) is a total winner!!!

Why the Bat-Theme? Did Adam West own it previously?

I totally would have bought this place, but the $150/month HOA dues is too much for me.
