I really like that art studio. And yeah, Frodo, the grey bedroom exists in SHARP contrast to the rest of the house. :-D Plus the Lake Union houseboat community is filled with the sort of eccentrics who keep life interesting.

What I don’t like: the location being a stone’s throw from two busy bridges (Interstate 5 being one of ’em), the street-side car-parking arrangement, and the large apartment blocks on the other side of the street. For that money I’d rather be on Lake Union proper or in a quieter spot on Portage Bay.

P.S. I can’t be the only one who *hates* the recent makeover of Google Maps. It’s irritating enough to make me install Pipelight and use Bing! Grrr.

@Emerald63: Moya was at least less bright. "Pilot, can we turn down the lights in here, please?" I get the sense that the artist who painted the paintings in photo 11 pained the interior of the house to match. At least they wanted some sleep because they muted the colors in the bedroom in photo 13.

Is it just me, or does that intense a color scheme make the interior feel like a living presence? Any other “Farscape” fans here? The spaceship in that show was a living being which still transported bipeds like us (and not like us – bright blue skin, tentacles for hair… don’t ask). Yeah, that’s the feel I get here. It doesn’t seem like an axe murderer presence, though. More like a giant box version of the artist who obviously lived there prior to sale. Hmm… Perhaps they collaborated. And you know what we do with… collaborators!!
