Thing is… if they’d just straightened the place up, it would actually have looked fairly decent. There are definitely some issues that need to be addressed – plaster that’s cracking and peeling, the subterranean watery dungeon that needs decent lighting and a paint job, and likely some structural elements which need thorough inspection, given the location on the river… literally.

Alas… the malaise that has fallen across the whole of the city seems to have taken hold here as well. A pity… a real pity.
