Clicking Through Photos is So Last Decade

Centre Heights, 137 Finchley Road, London NW3

Forget photo slideshows. Cross-faded borderless collages are where it’s at.

It’s the real estate wave of the future.

  1. Looks like Salvador Dali and M.C. Escher had a love child. A misshapen, mutated love child. Who’s really messy. Honestly, you want 3/4 of a million dollars for less than 800sqft and you can’t even be bothered to straighten up, let alone take a few extra pics? Geeze, if you have have any pride at least think of the bottom line for who might want to buy the place, especially if you feel the need to add “Would benefit from refurbishment.”

About refurbishment… take out the internal walls in the entrance level (except for the 1/2 bath) to get natural light back to the kitchen and make the work surface there U-shaped. Upstairs… I’d be tempted to take out the sink/shower room and recenter one joint bathroom in the middle of the space. This would allow for a closet on either side of it, one for each bedroom. For some reason the Brits seem to have a pathological aversion to built in closets, even in +$750K dwellings. Go figure.

  2. @Emerald63: That should read “If you *don’t* have any pride…”
