Perhaps the creepy basement cave is an homage to the street name? Please? All I know is anything would be better than the first thing that popped up (unbidden) in my head: "The John Wayne Gacy Memorial Crypt." Ewww..... The centralized furnace/crematory didn't help matters, nor did the large cauldron sitting next to it. Are we sure this isn't a gingerbread mushroom-hobbit-house? The plywood boarded front windows ramp up the creep factor even more... ~shudder~

If it had ever been finished and decorated it could have been pretty cool, minus the crypt, of course. Sad that it wasn't. BTW, anyone want hazard a guess (emphasis on "hazard") as to what the metal dowels surrounding the crypt entry are for?

Well, it certainly is a unique house. Aspects of this are intriguing, but it doesn't look like what's been done has been done well. It definitely needs work and rework to be whatever spectacular something it was intended to be. Not quite fit for a Hobbit yet if I do say so myself.
