A theater, which thrives on fictional story lines, seems more authentically quirky than the rest of the place, which just looks like a cheap – and wafer thin – stylistic smoke screen. Hmm.

But that atrium is pretty cool, what with the tree trunk slab stepping stones, the streetscape walls, the alley-way bistro string lights, the sky-mural ceiling… I’m not sure about the giant ceiling fan, though. Too reminiscent of Edward Scissorhands at best and Freddy Krueger at worst.

Still less disturbing than the giant golden ceiling compass, though. The style is fine and steampunk would definitely be fitting for its environs, but it’s Just.So.Damn.Big. The size and apparent weight is simply oppressive for that space, not to mention I’d be terrified of an imminent attack by armored polar bears. Well, maybe if they came with a cameo by Daniel Craig, I’d be OK with it…

The castle decor just looks expensively cheap.

There’s only one style for that ceiling compass: I would tear everything else out and go steam punk here. This place is begging for it.
