@Colleen: Ah… “money.” For a second there I thought you were talking about these guys – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moai. I figured, hey, they already have everything else… it wouldn’t be surprising if they had one of these, too. Or multiples, of course. :D

@Frodo: It is indeed a nice place, especially the terraces and balconies around the pool. The deep overhangs are perfect for spending time outdoors when it's raining but the temps are otherwise comfy. I'm thinking the "office - slash - laundry room" might just be a convenient set-up to surf the web or play solitaire while waiting for the washer or dryer to finish. With a house that big, you'd never hear the the buzzer go off from more than a couple rooms away. I suppose you could do some work while you wait, if your appliances are quiet enough, though surfing somehow sounds more appropriate.

So it’s an office – slash – laundry room. I’ve always wanted an office – slash – laundry room. O.o

Actually, it looks like a really nice place except that it doesn’t look like it’s been redecorated since it was built 20 years ago.
