Not a lot to say about this one. It’s a fairly normal 2.4 million dollar listing, but as I was scrolling through the photos—BAM—that deep purple sofa just jumped out of nowhere.

I also appreciate that they’ve included the directly-above shot that I love.

Well, until you hit the home theater. It’s… um… different…

The busts are of Greek and Roman origin. Some are even of famous philosophers. But the theater is an Egyptian tomb reborn… with a dozen gold thrones seats. And a totally creepy black obelisk.

Even so, the Egyptian theater may not sport the weirdest decor. At least Greek, Roman, and Egyptian are all ancient. But this…?

Definitely a “Wait… what?” moment. I dunno, maybe the dolls count as sorta busts?

This $1.2 million home is located in Port Orchard, which is just east of Seattle. Apparently it’s a location that doesn’t get quite enough sun for the seller of this home.

There’s some… interesting furniture choices here, too.

Hand chair and shoe chair don’t exactly look like the zenith of comfort.

I’d be happy to take that Ms. Pac-Man arcade cabinet if they need to unload it when they sell the home.

I can barely handle the photos. It’s hard to imagine what it would be like to actually step inside in real life.

Lots of odd decor and furnishing choices in this $5 million Santa Monica condo found by Emerald63. You’ve got the camouflage beds…

Weird rocking chairs, and fuzzy tabletop dog bust.

Weird tables, especially with the intricate wood-carved one right next to that tall all-mirror one.

Sort of a funky color for a chandelier, and what’s with the creepy jester painting?

But all the weird stuff can be ignored…

…as long as you spend most of your time just staring outside at the awesome view.

Um. Okay. So, it appears to be a bloodied, possibly severed head lying on a beach.

Not exactly the “art” piece I would have chosen to put directly over my bathtub.

Or anywhere in my house.

Or anywhere within 50 miles of me.

Even the furniture in this home is “art.”

Okay so the whole-wall fake room painting/photo is pretty cool, I will admit.

Well, no need to imagine anymore, I guess!

I’ve definitely never seen a table quite like that. There’s probably a reason for that.

Hey wait a minute this looks like a totally different room than the first photo, but that looks like a reflection of the naughty Mickey piece in the mirror. Or maybe it’s just a miniature, mirrored version of the same piece? Confusing.

Nice. Another appearance of the suggestive seating to really round out the decor in this place.

I hope you like Cadillacs. I mean really like them.

Because it might cost a bit to take down that giant glowing “Cadillac” sign in the garage.

Also… Why does that little end table have horse legs?

Apparently the seller of this home has a thing for colorful and bizarre chairs. You’ve got the partygoer chairs…

…the flaming pink skinny chairs…

…and the zebra chairs, just to name a few.

I also like how the chaise lounge chairs in the purple room face away from the view.

Can’t say that I’ve ever gotten off a horse and thought “that was so comfortable, I wish I could sit on a saddle all day, in my house!”

Also, did someone spill orange juice all over this photographer’s lens?

Okay this room is pretty cool. Not sure about the wild assortment of upholstery patterns, but I dig the circular sofas and table. Would be great for board gaming.

I didn’t know it was possible for furniture to be racist, but… well…

Those are definitely some… um… unique bar stools, that’s for sure.

The ottoman in what appears to be one of this home’s six living rooms is quite something too:

The really strange thing is that the whole rest of the house seems perfectly normal. It’s a funky furniture sneak attack.

Once in a while you’re browsing the listing photos of what is otherwise a perfectly normal 4.3 million dollar condo (with $4,312 a month HOA dues), when you catch something out of the corner of your eye that makes you do a double-take.

Like the bedroom table in this photo that was designed to look like a subservient little girl (or maybe just a small lady?) frozen in place, head bowed, forever holding up the glass surface just so you can have a place to set your evening cup of tea.
