There is no indication in the listing description of whether or not the $220k asking price includes the rusting muscle cars.

I also love how there are still Christmas lights up on a house that was just listed in mid-September. Maybe they’re just getting an early start. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

I love how sometimes you can look at a house—even a really expensive SoCal manse like this—and immediately know what decade it was built, just by looking at a single room.

The listing agent had an allotment of 30 photos to showcase this 11,500 square foot home. Here’s how he used them:

• 9 photos of the two white sports cars
• 4 photos of the living room
• 2 identical photos of the bathroom
• 2 ridiculously over-processed, hyper-saturated exterior shots
• 2 aerial shots
• 1 site drawing
• 10 photos of the rest of the house

That one is the primary photo.

This would be a terrifying reality to live in, frankly.

So… do the fancy cars come with the home? I think probably not, despite the fact that the photo above is the primary photo on this listing.

The car shots are funny. This, from the listing description, not so much:

The “no drive-by’s” bit is certainly ironic, given the photo choice.

The cars may not come with the home, but apparently this weird pipe contraption coming up out of the stream does.

Probably some sort of free irrigation scheme. Not sure how the local environmental protection board would feel about it, but hey, whatever. Not the seller or listing agent’s problem, right?

Apparently the key to making living in a lifeless desert marginally tolerable is sports cars.

Okay so the rear shot of this imaginary home hugging the hillside doesn’t appear to have the sports cars. Oh well.

For some reason the official listing photos on this one are tiny, but you can view a much higher-resolution set a Sotheby’s Realty.

Once in a while you come across a home listing photo that’s almost… artistic.

Then you look at the rest of the pictures in the set and you realize that it was probably accidental.
