That… is a lot of antlers.

Nothing else really all that kooky about this place, other than the fact that it’s a $4 million listing in an Iowa suburb of Omaha, Nebraska…

Not the craziest taxidermy room we’ve seen, but it’s definitely up there near the top.

The great part about this one is how that room doesn’t show up until the 11th photo in the set. Every other photo before that is of a fairly tame home, with only one clue you get before that is the office antelope.

Wait, office antelope?

I’m definitely also a fan of the bendy flagpole.

The listings butler strikes again! Er, well, his Spanish cousin does, anyway.

What I don’t get about this listing is how the same listing can feature this photo:

Really? They couldn’t even manage to level the camera? Sheesh.

Also, FYI. You’re basically a nobody if your 10,000 square foot estate doesn’t have a wall-mounted shark.

And a zebra rug in the wine cellar.

The more you know.

It looks so unassuming from the outside, but then once you step inside…

Lions!

And… um… mountain lions!

And polar bears!

Oh my.

I think this place may take the taxidermy crown from the Gig Harbor, WA home we featured a couple years ago.

Also, who keeps six buffet servers in their dining room? This place is creeping me out for a variety of reasons.

But hey, at least there’s this:

Yay, train! Probably not as awesome as the incredible “Railway Resort” in Oregon (which is still for sale, by the way, and $1.7 million cheaper than this place), but hey it’s a lot cooler than a bunch of dead animals.

List price: just above a million bucks.

If the buyer isn’t blind though, they’re probably going to have to budget a bit extra to tone this place down a notch.

Make that five or six notches.

The best part about this listing is how every room seems to have a dramatically different style.

And yet they’re all hideous.

Well it’s not quite so “private” anymore now, is it? From the decor, I get the feeling that this was a “guys only” kind of club.

Doesn’t really look like they’re the most organized club of all time, either.

Based on the primary listing photo shown above for this listing, I assume they must be selling… um… a floating storage facility? For nearly half a million dollars?

Hmm, the second photo certainly seems to strengthen that impression.

If you persevere though, you do eventually get to photos of the house for sale.

And you realize why they maybe weren’t jumping at the chance to share photos of it. Yowzer.

It’s a bit ironic that I found this particular showcase of dead animals in a home whose address is on “Lively Lane.”

It’s also a bit strange to me that the room with all of the disembodied animal heads opens directly into the dining room and kitchen.

Maybe it’s some type of mental diet. A form of psychological appetite suppressant, if you will.

Whoa that is a lot of dead animals. I count eight in this photo alone.

Gotta love the antler chandelier.

And who wouldn’t love to have a warthog peering down at them while they bathe?

I have to say, this hallway has the most… uniquely decorated walls I’ve seen in quite a while.

Just pin those small carcasses up wherever.
